This LEED Silver project features a sunlit waiting area with its memorable butterfly civic art sculptural chandelier. There are numerous spaces for counseling, group therapy, conference, community meetings, offices, and a tranquil courtyard for outdoor therapy.
As a replacement facility, the most challenging aspect of this phased project was its immediate adjacency to the existing operational Arcadia Mental Health Center, only a few feet away. Abbott Construction took additional measures to reduce sound and vibration, while maximizing safety and comfort for staff and patients. This project was completed under a public design-build contract.
