The Crawford Hall project was the targeted renovation and expansion of a mid-century William Pereira building into a new Athletics complex. The renovation transformed administrative space into the Santora Elite Training Center, a new strength and condition facility also used by the Los Angeles Rams during summer training.
Lower level space was transformed into the Al Irwin Academic Center, with new views over the Olympic pool. This revitalized facility became a hallmark for the UCI Athletics Program and its ongoing sports recruiting. The project was completed under a public design-build contract.
