Living Computers: Museum + Labs

Seattle, WA

A celebrated museum showcasing vintage computers alongside new and emerging technologies.

Located in the SODO district of Seattle, this project was an occupied tenant improvement of an existing museum housed within a 1930’s era building. It included a renovation of the first floor of the museum, transformation of an existing elevator shaft into a cantilevered architectural staircase and addition of a structural steel mezzanine. Abbott has completed multiple projects at the museum including significant seismic upgrades to the building, a tenant improvement of the display area, and a fit-out of the main lobby.
