This new 4-story, 107,000 sf building for LA County Department of Mental Health is the Phase 5 addition to the Restorative Care Village on the LA General Hospital campus, expanding a continuum of care for behavioral health services. The facility houses six separate operators with 96 total beds, along with an outdoor staff patio, client balconies, rooftop terrace, individual and shared in-suite care rooms, common kitchens, dining facilities, private offices, and conference rooms.
The project is targeting LEED Gold certification through rooftop solar panels, VRF systems, optimized daylighting, low flow fixtures, a cool roof with reflective paving, and drought tolerant landscaping. A public arts component with LA County Arts & Culture will be featured on the building facade along Mission Road.
