Metropolitan Market, anchor tenant of the new Sammamish Village development, opened this morning. Hundreds of supporters gathered at the grand opening event with lines stretching around the block. The event featured a cookie-breaking ceremony, free grocery totes, and plenty of delicious samples.

The new 35,000 sf store will be open 24/7 and features a wide variety of prepared foods, kitchen shop, tasting kiosk, bakery, and butcher, as well as fresh floral, produce, and seafood departments. A second level mezzanine provides seating for those wishing to dine in the store.
