Abbott Construction requires that all trade partners prequalify to contract work with our company. We’re growing year over year, and we’re eager to discover new partners that share our passion for quality construction.

Abbott Construction, as part of the STO Building Group family of builders, is now partnering with COMPASS for our prequalification program. COMPASS is a secure, web-based application designed to allow trade partners to efficiently satisfy prequalification requests from multiple general contractors by completing a single prequalification form (“COMPASS 1Form”). We’re excited to offer a tool that makes your lives a little easier.
Are you a small or diverse business?
Abbott Construction is committed to a diverse workforce and the development of community business enterprises such as disadvantaged, small, minority, veteran, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses. Please help us learn more about your company by marking your diversity classifications in your online prequalification form, and upload a copy of your current certificate(s). Are you already prequalified with Abbott?
If you’re already prequalified with Abbott, you do not need to do anything at this time. However, once your prequalification is up for renewal, you will need to register and prequalify through COMPASS. You are welcome to begin this process before your renewal is due. All trade partners will need to resubmit their information through COMPASS annually.

We’re glad you’re here. Before you begin, please gather the following data and documents. You’ll need them ready in order to successfully submit your online application. You will need the following documents (annually):
- Signed W-9
- Project References
- Experience Modification Rate (EMR)
- OSHA 300A Forms
- Financial Statements
- Banking, Bonding, and Insurance Information
Additional requirements and documents:
- Review, accept, and abide by the applicable Supplier Code of Conduct
- Signed Safety Declaration
- Review the Abbott Construction Project Safety Management Plan
- If you are a certified small or diverse business, include a copy of your Certificate(s) showing expiration (not required for prequalifcation).
