As Project Engineer at Abbott Construction, Tahni works in the Special Projects Division. Her work entails subcontractor coordination, estimating, and problem-solving, as well as managing documentation and invoicing. She enjoys working with a positive attitude in a team environment where all players work together to reach a common goal.
Tahni graduated from the University of Washington’s Construction Management Master’s Program and was recognized for excellent achievement by the Construction Management Association of America as their single 2016 graduate student scholarship recipient. She has worked in various areas of the construction industry for over eight years. With experience in business development, marketing, sales, proposal development, estimating, document control, and administration, she brings a variety of skills to her project team.
Tahni’s excellent communication skills aid her in her role at Abbott working collaboratively with subcontractors and clients. By providing exceptional customer service, Tahni aims to cultivate long-lasting partnerships with all involved in the process. She has had the opportunity to work with clients such a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, General Services Administration, Joint Base Lewis-McChord Air Force Base, and Washington State Department of Transportation.
In her free time, Tahni enjoys physical fitness, yoga, hiking, cooking, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
