After six years in the US Air Force, Martin was determined to get back into the industry which employed so many of his family members that he grew up idolizing.

Personal Bio

As Project Manager at Abbott Construction, Martin is responsible for managing schedule, cost and quality. He maintains a high-level of respect for all parties involved on a project allowing him the opportunity to build rapport with not only the client, but the project team and subcontractors as well. From inception to completion, his work encompasses estimating, contract execution and management, cost analysis, value engineering, and submittal and RFI review. Martin is customer service-focused and diligent through his attention to detail.

After six years in the US Air Force, Martin was determined to get back into the industry which employed so many of his family members that he grew up idolizing. He received his undergraduate degree from Lamar University in Construction Management, and both his master’s degree in Project Management and doctorate in Human Capital Management from Bellevue University.

Martin is a health nut working out six days a week, mixing in basketball as much as possible. He is a movie buff and has seen almost everything since the late 1960s that found its way onto the big screen. Additionally, he is an advocate for veterans in the greater Seattle area who struggle with PTSD and depression.

Abbott's work was performed on-time, on-budget and ultimately resulted in a world-class facility not only for the making of whiskey, but also sharing the whiskey making process with our customers.
