Doug brings over 36 years of construction experience to his role as Field Superintendent at Abbott Construction where he is responsible for all aspects of construction supervision and ensuring jobsite safety.
Doug brings over 36 years of construction experience to his role as Field Superintendent at Abbott Construction where he is responsible for all aspects of construction supervision and ensuring jobsite safety. His career in this industry started after completing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts at Montana State University working for two design-build contractors building custom homes in the Bozeman Montana before relocating to Seattle.
In Seattle he worked as a superintendent for various production home builders doing speculation (“spec”) housing, tenant improvements and retail spaces. In 1995 he started his own construction company building spec homes, custom homes, and office tenant improvements. Then in 1998, Doug became a commercial construction superintendent and has been involved with many projects from ground-up construction to occupied renovations in a variety of sectors.
