Building upon a successful career of over 30 years in the construction industry, Bob offers a wealth of understanding to his role as Superintendent at Abbott Construction. Bob is responsible for overseeing the safety and operations of the jobsite, as well as the timeliness of completion, and the quality of the completed project. He is adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, owners, architects, and trade contractors, resulting in highly collaborative and effective teams with proven results.
With a strong background in public works, Bob has since established expertise in medical facilities, including major hospital renovations. In addition, Bob's diverse portfolio consist of tenant improvement, occupied remodels, historical renovations, and site work. He has had the opportunity to work on projects in a wide variety of industry types such as, hospitals, medical laboratories, government offices and buildings, major parks and recreation facilities, including the Seattle Center Fountain, several K-12 renovations and universities. He has served clients such as The University of Washington, City of Seattle, numerous city and county government facilities and detention centers, Harborview Medical Center and Washington State Enterprise Services.
When not at Abbott, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife of 27 years and their two daughters and two grandsons. Bob is fond of camping and being outdoors, but he is most at home preparing gourmet food for family and friends and trying new recipes.
