Big Fish Games

Big Fish Games

Seattle, WA

Project Overview

This multi-phased relocation tenant improvement for Big Fish Games occurred within the historic Maritime building that was undergoing a complete structural retrofit in conjunction with Seattle Landmarks. Use of recycled natural materials and wood salvaged from the original Maritime Building was incorporated throughout. Features include collaboration areas, secluded focus rooms and a central staircase connecting two floors with several video boards showcasing clips of popular games. Also included are sound-proof rooms, each with a dedicated server encased in safe-like areas for downloading and testing games on hundreds of devices simultaneously. Nearby spaces for human testers are equipped with multiple cameras that track eye and hand movement of users when playing.
